RENTALS
Our facilities are for newbies and pros. Here’s a quick overview of our departments, but check out their main pages for more information. Anything you wanna learn we’ll teach in private staff-taught tutoring, or if you enjoy a group environment take one of our classes & workshops.
DARKROOMS
We offer a wide variety of Traditional Color & Black and White darkroom configurations to fit customers needs and budgets. Your choice of group, private, and even mural darkrooms. Enlargers accommodate 35mm-8×10 film formats. Just bring in your negatives and paper, we’ve got everything else covered. Reservations are highly recommended.BLACK AND WHITE DARKROOMS
There are three private rooms, one private projection room, a twelve station group room, and one mural room. Maximum tray processing size is 24×24″ and maximum mural size is approximately 50×96″. There is an RC processor available for rent, maximum 20″ wide prints. Film processing facilities include a black and white roll station and a sheet film processing room.COLOR DARKROOM
There are three private rooms, three group stations, and one mural room, which all lead out to a 50″ wide Colex processor. Prints take approximately five minutes to process. There are two light viewing units for close scrutiny of your prints, and color packs to assist with color correction. The processor is usually on everyday, but is not turned on unless we have existing reservations. Please call ahead if you plan to walk in.DIGITAL LAB
Digital imaging lab holds 10 G5 Mac workstations, includes 5 professional scanners, 3 large format printers, and the programs you need to create almost anything. The lab is ideal for working on photo organization, color sensitive printing projects, web design, scanning, archiving, retouching, and much more. Staff is on hand to help out with quick questions or to handle technical issues as they arise.Coming soon…digital printer rental…
STUDIO
The Rayko rental studio is approximately 850 square feet (23×37) with a 14’-plus ceiling and includes a changing room and make-up area. The studio is at street level and features a large roll-up door for easy loading. You can shoot against the weathered brick wall at one end of the studio, or use one of our 12’ backdrops. In-house lighting, view cameras, and color calibrated computers are also available for rental.
